Default Turbo Timer - Anyone used one ?

Due to some hooligan breaking into my Q4 and pinching not only the radio but half the console it sits in I have a decision to make.

I either search for the missing piece of console, the bit that holds the radio and the little shelf below or replace the whole piece with a new panel.

If I take the later option I would have room to fit a turbo timer below the radio. Has anyone used one of these ? are they easy to wire in ? or am I making an easy job much too hard ?

Can't comment on the turbo timer, but....

djsly is removing part of his center console, and so am I...

I have a twinny, but I guess the center console is the same? at least the bottom part...

This is what I've done after I got rid of the stereo, and needed somewhere for the waterspray control box.

Similar to what am going to do but in my case only from the ashtray down. I will then refit the radio in its orginal place and put the turbo timer underneath.

I will take some piccies when complete.
