Oh dear
Finished the repair panel today and tackled a few more rusty areas under the rear of the car, usually covered by the fuel tank...the twisted wire wheels for grinders are excellent!
Started on the inner chassis rail, added a bit of rust converter:
Then the fuel tank mounts, plastic grommets were removed by screwing in a 10mm bolt and pulling them out.
Then the drain holes which are a usual point for corrosion:
Cleaned up a couple more areas and slapped more "Bondo" on!
The finished job...final paint and stone guard to be done after I've completed the boot floor repair by the wheelarch.
