Or get a mark one short block.
It has a slightly different oil channel layout and no casting for balance shafts. block is considered more durable then the mark 2 which had balance shafts.
This all had to do with different piston cooling jet layout and lack of balance shafts.
The mark one could be found in the delta 8v integrale, old croma Turbo I.E., Alfa 164 Turbo 8V.
I bought 3 complete engines for 250 euro each before finding out they the same engine familly as the turbo 16v engines. Just need to swap pistons and head.
