    Default My red 155 q4

    about six months ago i bought a red q4 whit a broken engineHere ill post some pics its ugly and dirty i just drove it the first time yesterday.


    Dismounting the donor car was good saturday winter fun

    it was made to the end from all the crazy happines forgot to film the first round

    Im as happy as a radio on a sundey afternon cant wait to get it home clean it and get it on some nice set of rims.

    Loving some of your workshop equipment, especially the engine crane!! Still you got the job done and thats the main thing.

    Another update:

    The car is mechanicaly put togheter done 300 km today but it neds some tuning and new hoses thermostat some tiny bits

    It runs to rich mixture, blows the boost hoses and the thermostat is open all the time . How to say a typical Q4!

    I always find the front indicators a real pain to get out, I think the clip on 1 side is broken, and I can never get them straight.

    Cars looking good though.

    Looks great, Stuntz - It would be good to see pics of the T28 install on the tubular exhaust manifold as you are doing it, as I am going to to a similar (T3/t4) upgrade. Whay did you opt for the t28 instead of a t3/t4?

    Low rpm Boost! In slovenia we have very twisty roads and a fasst spooling turbo is better than a big slow turbo ! As you use your q4 for track you dont need that!

    I once lost a front indicator while driving 230+ on the highway
    Never found anything back from the indicator

    Now that is a nasty engine bay ... you could use at least some water and soap there and some new hoses and paint would be even better

    BTW, I see you've moved the ignition coils at almost the same location as I did. You could fit some custom short cables, and get rid of those original spaghetti wires
