I didnt know the rack brackets cracked!

Where did you buy the wastegate from?

Also, I see the old oil cooler pipes - just based on my experience while you are there I would replace these with after market pipes and connections

You need to adapt the gas cable brackets(needs a little bit of shortening becouse the cable is too tight), the idle valve brackets also needs adapting if you wish it to stay on the bracket, last but not least ...you need to "plug" the exit for the integrale's idle valve on the left side of the manifold.

Hi AXAQ42 ~ with the wheels and disks in this rebuild - I guess that you are using 166 calipers with Fiat coupe vt20 disk rotors? Is that correct? Also you have them inside 16" rims - can you tell me the rim details please?

    Thanks, jimn~.

These are the calipers from the lancia kappa 2.0 20v turbo...which are essentially the same as the calipers from the 166 AND the disk rotors are from Fiat coop...all correct

They are inside an 16" rim...OZ F1 RACING CUP....i will tell you the rim details as soon as i will get to read from the rim itself .They fit with no problem..not even the 5mm spacer is needed.
    These are the same:

Probably the 37ET allows them to fit.

Team Dynamics RVO1 fit too, with about 1mm of space!!

Bad news about your 1st Q4, still it went on to "give" its parts to save another! Your car looks just like mine! Done the widebody conversion and its just waiting for a few new bits and bob's and some paint and she's done!!
Good luck with yours, and stay away from that bend in the road!!!!
    Love my Q4

I have Tecnomagnesio Sport TM alloys, ET37 and 7J.
I tried the GTA calipers from WhizzMan, but they won't fit without a HUGE spacer And there is no roomo for this on my Q4 with the setup I have. I don't want to get rit of my Tecno's, so for now no brake conversion.

AxaQ42: Great job you! Engine sounds nice. Must take a look at the intake manifold projects that where done on this forum.

Have you tried 166 calipers? I think the GTA versions are much bigger.

Yes, that is what I should have said...bigger on width, by quite a lot, something like 15-25mm iirc.

Hi bud, the widebody conversion is almost done, but LHD racks are pretty rare over here! You got a spare quick rack kicking around???
