Hi sub555, I can't answer your new questions, but I wanted to ask you one!.. I read your post from back in April 2007, where you had fitted a new clutch and release bearing etc and then you found out that you had a noisy release bearing. The same thing seems to have happened to me....What was the final result with your "noise" issue did it turn out to be the release bearing or something else???

    Thanks, JimN~

Sub555 - you can always increase the fuel pressure on you standard regulator up to around 3.5 bar, but the fuel pump might not be sufficient.

If you have modified your exhaust and inlet system and haven't modified the softare, or only moderate updates of the software, then you might hit the boost limiter at 4400 rpm. Please see table below:

    [rpm] [kPa]
    400 50
    800 50
    1200 50
    1601 51
    2001 73
    2401 133
    2803 133
    3205 133
    3606 120
    3998 109
    4401 96
    4808 86
    5208 80
    5614 80
    5990 80
    6510 80

hi jim i found that the startermotor was not fully disengauging when you put the clutch down the noise would change making me belive it was the clutch bearing but when i removed the starter i found all the teeth on the end of the cog on the starter were ground away so i changed the starter and the problem has been solved

    hope this helps jim
