    Default Elec-trickery?

Does anyone else have an eccentric fuel gauge? I was driving back home the other day, fuel was a little on the low side, but every time I overtook something, accelerating hard the fuel gauge would dive to empty (from about 1/4 full) and the light came on. Also when I came to a stop at a junction I noticed that the fuel warning light was flashing in time with the indicators!
Italian electrics or something more sinister?

mine 'works' the same way!!! Light is on during acceleration even with fuel a little less than 1/2 full. And the sender is brand NEW but it works like this.

And a small advice. Keep fuel more than 1/2 all the time. The sender suffer less in this way.

    Cheers

Mine is fairly well behaved - it just goes from one end to the other too quicky for my liking - guess I should drive it a bit easier lol
