Default Q4 motor bay maintenance ...

I'm doing some maintenance at engine bay of my Q4.

How many threads are securing this? (battery tray)

(Sorry for using this image but that was the fastest way of showing what I want ...)

I can only see 3 trheads but it must be another...

I'll show some more photos later ...

I have 2 hoses broken down to buy ...
    Kind regards

I think its the 3 above and one below - although, I leave the one below out as its difficult to get to and the 3 above give plenty of strength.

hose number 5 in next figure had broken...

And I cannot find onother one... just at Alfa Romeo dealer...

I've allready discovered the fourth thread, thanks.

I had used some strong tape to solve the problem and next week I'll exchange that hose.

...and take some photos... I've forgot that...
    Kind regards

Jose, can't you just use some standard low pressure oil hose to feed back to the engine? Its only coming from the oil vapour separator so shouldn't be too critical. Or of course use some tape in the meantime.

And yes the 4th bolt goes under the tray, but its a pain to get at, so I only used the top 3 (after dropping the 4th bolt about 6 times) before the battery ended up in the boot.

You can use any pipe that fits that can take oil, as Steve said, its only oil vapour - very little pressure. These pipes get quite brittle!
