    Default Dump valve ...

I'm searching a Dump Valve for my Q4.

    Any sugestions?

Anyway, there's an Air Flow Meter in this car? If so, where?

Raptor or SSQV are a good choice.

The Q4 doesn't have an Air Flow Meter, it has a MAP sensor. So there is no problem with any BOV.

I have just received my Forge dump valve, does anyone have any advice on fitting? Is there anything I should be aware of before I start ?

    Any advice much appreciated.

if you have a noisey dump valve does it take away from the wastegate chatter?

Getting lots of conflicting info from Integrale & Fiat Coupe forums, can anyone explain exactly where the forge dump valve should be fitted.

Any pictures or diagrams would be helpful

Would want to go into this blind

in the same place as the normal one but i think you will have to block the pipe that leads to the airbox if its one that vents to air . im poss going to be fitting mine on the main hard pipe into the throttle body when it arrives as i think the closer to the throttle body the better.
so small bore hose to the inlet manifold one hose in the dump valve and block the other , sounds easy but wait for someone to confirm as im no expert

OK, whilst sorting out the boost gauge I decided to fit the Forge dump valve. Quite easy really. The valve replaces the existing unit and the blanking plug supplied blocks where the recirculating valve dump to.

Out come is a much more pleasing sound. A proper whoosh / whistle on lift off without being too intrusvie.

    Very Happy

Photos would be good, that way, along with the advice/experiences of people on the forum, I can put together a series of small articles along the lines of the waterspray one.
