If i have time, i'll make a picture.
I have the control unit in the car, with a led displaying the active program.

    Greetings,

Yeah, the top end power looks a bit dodgy for a standard engine, I know he says only shorts bursts but the temptation would be there

Here's the picture from the control unit from my combi-prom.

I have looked at the option used in the advertisment to get the same result as with the Squadra combi-prom. Luckl for me, Stephan from Squadra found the very last combi-prom which I bought.

If you are patient I'll post the drawings for a 4-maps eprom switch, easy to DIY with a cost of just 15-20 euro.
Guys, keep in mind that in order to have a 4-maps switch in our car { and Lancia Evo2} you mast use a 27C1001 eprom. For 16V/Evo1 you must use a 27C512 eprom which have half capacity of 27C1001 and 4 pins less!
You could use the "4-maps eprom switch for 16V/Evo1" but you could have just 2 {two maps} and certainly not 4 {four} maps - see difference in pins.

    That's all for now.

you need to convert the 16V file into one suitable for Q4 and it is not that easy.
For almost a year I'm trying to modify an OEM Evo2 file into one suitable for our cars and still many to be done. And Evo2 maps are completely different from 16V/Evo1 files.

    Cheers

As far as I know they had a 4-maps combi just for the 16V/Evo1.
For Q4 of '92 and '94 had only the "fastroad" chip. For my '96 Q4 had NOT have any kind of chip-map!
Could you ask them if they have a "fastrosd" chip also for the '96 Q4 with immobilizer?

    Cheers

He had a couple of chips left, an 8v Evo 'grale and a 16v (1.4Bar) one, but that is all, he isnt doing the chip tuning any more - but said he wants to work with cosworth as he has a contact there to get some chips created.

To be honest, the business is far to non 'grale specialised now - I can tell that from their work, Paul (I think) who is the 'grale man didn't see so involved in working on the cars.

    1. they didnt route the crank sensor cable properly and it stripped the wire on the aux belt and broke down on the test drive - they repaired it though.
    2. the vacuum pipes in wrong place causing overfuelling (see other thread)

Ah well, guess i will just have to get my hands dirty more often...

    Hi guys,

I created a pcb and i can place 4 eproms on it. This means you can upload 4 different maps on this eproms (1 map for 1 eprom).

In my design, you can switch between each map on idle.
