Default Picture Progress of Project Q4

    Hi,
Cant believe i did not post all the pics over on the new forum, well, apologies, here they are:

    A nice re-ground crankshaft:

    The offending shell:

I bought a glaze breaker from machine mart for about £17, does the trick,
    Before:

    After:

Now discovered a bent valve on the "good" head

But at least the clutch doesnt look too shabby

Slowly more bits get bolted on:

oh god where do they all go??(this isnt even half of em

    Nearly done

    Last set:

The woes of the oil cooler pipe:

    Interior:

    Engine:

    Exterior:

Its been a good little (big) project, some of it a bit over my head but luckily me dad knows his stuff
Believe me I dont plan to take on another one for quite some while!

It had its MOT on Friday and only failed on the rear brakes/handbrake cable and front wishbones - All should be fixed tomorrow and a certificate printed.

Then the new owner can collect and register it

I ended up really taking my time with it, I bought in December 2005 but didnt work in it for months and months, and even then I really took my time!

Not sure I want to do another any time soon though
