Problems with turbo?

Does anyone of you had any problems with your Q4's turbo?

What are the simptoms of failure of the turbo unit?

Any sound, any vibration...?

If it brokens it's suddenly or by phases?

lots of smoke!

Yep, lots ans lots of smoke. When the oil seals on my old one were worn, i left a smoke screen every time i lifted off the throttle.

How may miles/kilometers did you do before the turbo broke down :
I think i still got the original turbo, only i have driven more than 254.000KM at the moment. I don't have any problems at all, just wondering. And yes, i'm chipped doing about 1.3 bar peak at the moment.
