Default Cutting hole in front bumper

    Hi,

there seems to be a few cars here with the two holes in the front bumper behind where the front number plate goes.

I am thinking about doing this and mounting the numberplate just below.

Does anyone know if this is hard to do, is it one layer of plastic?

I would just drill a hole and use a jigsaw and tidy with a file etc I think

Thinking the same jack , it gets hot under the bonnet quite quick.

I was going to do this when I was messing about with the waterspray for the intercooler. Not 100% sure but the bumper comes in 2 pieces, I think you only have to cut through the outer piece to open up the holes, however the reason I didn't do this was because there is a crossmember that goes across right behind where the holes go.

I don't think it's difficult to do, butt useing a jigsaw...use it at very low speed! otherwise the plastic will get to hot and the platic will melt...

I think the bumper at the point of the holes is thin an easy to do....
If someone has the exact measurement of those holes, i'd like the hear them

    Greetings,
    Marc
