Made a quick stop at the workshop on my way home today. Enthusiastic after having borrowed a special tool to extract the flat pin females from the JPT contacts used for the injector wires and most sensors as well. Suddenly I managed to replace almost all the dried out rubber seals used on most cables under the hood. Next things on this topic are to order the seals for the two 7-pin ignition module contacts, which are ridiculously expensive, and to find out what kind of tool the brown IAT sensor contact wants to see to extract its pins. Really annoying that it is just almost the same as the other ones...
I also attach a picture showing the engine block after may dad special ordered that grey tone the block appeared to have. Either the coverage of the original paint was terribly poor (yes it was), or the grey color we got was much lighter (yes, maybe little).
