    Default ECU Swap

    is it possible to switch ECU's ?
    will a delta EVO 1 WH4W be replacement for a 4w6 ? Mine is a 101.02 and it seems to be creating problems for tuners

    i'm with Martin on that, don't do it, use proper aftermarket new ecu, that is easily programable, or make some modification to original one.

    You have to remember integrale Evo 1 is single coil with a different cam phase sensor to the twin coil Q4, so they aren't interchangeable.

    Ok but out of interest are there any ECU's which are interchangeable ?

    I would imagine the Fiat Coupe 16vT could be but does that get in to problems with the ECU having to talk to the immobiliser etc?

    I was thinking the same thing ... They also have the cam sensor and twin coils
