Dead battery no fuel and then towing round the car park for about a mile and it still didnt fire i was ready to give up

but after about an hour of fecking about it eventually started to fire then slowly spluttered onto 2 then 3 then 4 cylinders it was running

and after a good run home it all seems fine

If you mean fastening the shoulder harnesses down to this, then thats a big no no. They should go backwards at no more than 45 degrees below the horizontal, and ideally a lot less below it.

No idea what that bar is for to be honest, some strange Japanese fetish no doubt.

Congratulations, looking like a nice car.

That's indeed a big no no.
I have also something like this, I only fitted that axtra bar between the legs of the cage. Right behind the seats. I fitted the lower straps of harnass/belt to this bar.

Is it connected to the actual body, maybe to strengthen the body from flexing??

No i`ve sussed it out ............... its bolted to the floor there is one eyelet on it which lines up with the side of the seat theres another eyelet mounted near the seat belt mounting and 2 more eyelets mounted to the rear seat belt mounting points

so its there for a four point harness
