That look interesting, have you tried it out yet? Be nice if the error reporting was clearer than startrek.

    Nice finding...

unfortunatley i cannot check it now as my ecu is in the journey to kosovo in serbia...

but fom screenshoots (that are in polish as also development) i see that errors are in human readable format with explanations

No, it's been home for ages...no chance to try the software at present but will asap...Startrek is good but having to decode the hex is a pain as are the confusing multiple errors in one code.

I'm going to when the new batch of quickshifts arrive. But in the meantime it looks like I need a new battery. The one in the car is now completely dead!

I tried it just now. Seems like a good program. And the codes are much clearer to read than in startrek. My lambda is shot and both the water and air temp wiring is not grounding the signal properly. Have to check the earth cables once more and order a new lambda. And also the coil number 1 has some sort of trouble with the wiring as well...

And I thought the car was ok

Well it goes today for a wheel alignment and tomorrow to the exhaust shop. Can't wait the new system to be fitted. I hope I can properly test the car for the first time in 16.9. in our club track day.

Not working for me either, same error as Steve or it just sits at the "Switch the ignition on" stage.

Just to make sure everything was ok, I fired up Startrek again, noticed a couple of things, firstly it seems to under-read what the Tacho reads by about 200rpm. And despite there being a fully charged new battery on the car, the voltage in startrek with the ignition on is higher than when the engine is actually running.

Anyone else get strange reading like this?

I use an old, out-of-date version of Win XP virtualised with VmWare Fusion for mac. The program didn't automatically identify the ecu, but choosing the correct one connected the program to the ecu allright.

Some of the sensor readings were pretty vague, but I managed to identify a problem with ecu pin 11 which is a filtered ground for MAP, throttle, air and tempsensors, co-trimmer and ALFA-tester. So I'm waiting axiously to get the car back from the exhaust shop to get my hands greasy again

Both the startrek and IAW-scan showed undervoltage on mine, but it sounds strange that it should show lower voltage when the car is running. Steve, did you check the charging voltage with a multimeter? Startrek showed 11.9V with ignition on and 13,5V with the car running. IAW-scan also showed an error for undervoltage.

Which error codes did you get? I think we had quite similiar codes from startrek so it might be useful to compare notes from IAW-scan.

Just ordered an Innovate MTX-L and hoping to get it hooked up in two weeks. The exhaust man is quite busy with other things (like doing Sauna benches ) so I'll have to wait when he gets his hands on the Q4.

This must replace the XD-16 range which was out for a long time.

Wish their dual gauge did lambda and boost!

I think I will get the MTX-L soon - £123 is not too bad

AFR/boost gauge would've been perfect. I'm still wondering where to move the boost gauge, as it's face is white and it's just plain wrong. I'll let you know how it works when I get it going.

You having a wooden exhaust, or metal sauna benches (Owww hot!)?

What is it with you Finns and Saunas? (Can't talk, we've got a sauna here in the house, but it was already here when we bought the place.)

I'm not excatly sure which one's going to be wooden and which one metal :=) The guy is a tig welding genius (and obviously an able carpenter aswell) so I'm waiting. The track day tomorrow isn't going to happen so I reconditioned the handbrake mechanisms from the spare Q4 and used my new press to push out about 10 hubs from idle uprights for fun :=) Well I drank a few beers aswell...

The biggest reason for saunas is the weather of course. I'm anxoiusly waiting for winter to drive the q4. 4wd and snow is incredible fun

I thought you lot up there in Northern Europe had a sauna then ran outside and rolled around in the snow!!

Sitting in a sauna is a favorite way to warm up after working outside in the winter.
