    Default Injector cleaning.

Just read a thread on another forum about stripping and rebuilding injectors, this thread infact http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...on+the+side%29 and I was just wondering if this is going to be better than dunking the injectors into an ultrasonic cleaner.

Personally the bit that I'm not keen on is removing the filter inside of the injector.

    Default

When I rebuilt my daily drive (the red Q4, on my garage) I sent my injectors for refurb at a local firm, they did the same thing as he did in that thread and also adjusted the spray.

Steve, why not keen on removing the filter?
In my opinion it should be same thing dunking it into ultrasonic cleaner as removing all parts, cleaning and then rebuild with new parts where needed.

I think it is a matter of what is most accessible and easy to work with.
    best regards
