    Default Alfa Romeo 155 Bodykits

Bodykits for the 155 seem a little bit like Marmite (or Vegemite if you live on the wrong side of the equator ) you either love them or hate them, some are amazing, if you include the Ti-Z which is technically a bodykit, others are pretty dire.

I came across 2 today that I've not spotted before. The first, Savali, I'd never seen fully fitted to a car before, I've seen pics of their (in)famous bootlid. Looks pretty good if a little stuck on when it comes to the arch extensions.

The second, by a company that I've not heard of before, sold by Lindner Motorsport the Limos kit looks a little more hardcore, but I'm certainly not convinced by the rear doors and wings.

The curious thing is that they both remind me of the Alfa 75 Veloce kit, Imsa racecar.

Anyone got any other pics of bodykitted cars?

I think there were only something like ten Limos kits made...thankfully! The styling is certainly a bit on the heavy side.

The usual kit is the DTM copy, originally by Lester I think...but could be wrong.

TiZ is just stunning, I want my Q4 to look like that when it grows up.

The third one down is the Limos kit, that particular car was a 1.7 and on Ebay a couple of years ago.

Don't know anything about the LV, but I guess it was done for similar reasons to the 155 Silverstone, but for a different market. I've come across limited edition 155's in Germany, but they didn't seem all that special.

Mostly it's the name that's special if you asked me.
For Germany it isn't totally true, they had different skirts and if I remember correctly, they had different ECU programming. Not sure on the last one...

    ...some don't.

Seems to be listed as 163 KW which works out at 218 bhp, a little more than the standard V6, although I've never heard of a special edition V6 before.

as far as i remember it shoud be 163 or 166 PS - depends on version,
but for example mine v6 after 200kkm without any special modifications (KW airfilter and supersprint exhaust) had 183PS - checked on dyno.

Not sure it's Kw...it says "163ps" which is 160bhp, more or less the same as a standard car (163bhp).

Looks like it's got a mild bodykit and is Japanese "limited edition".

Looks like that website got things a little wrong, should be listed as 163 bhp I think.

As for the 'Limited Version' car, looks like its a special for the Japanese market, limited to 250 models, comes with a recaro interior, Zender bodykit, white speedlines and some special graphics.

Doesn't sound all that special really.

I think some Lancias used the white speedlines as well. The guy who ran the Dedra who worked at Evo-Eng had a set.
