Anyone else on here fly them?

I've been laid up for the last week due to a dodgy knee so thought I'd get back into these things. The garden is big enough to re-learn to fly in so I splashed out and got one of these:



Took 2 days to build the thing, and I've only just got the thing trimmed properly after a number of flights.

Cracking fun, but I'd forgot how tricky they were to fly and how much concentration they need.

I have just dug mine out again, really need to get back in to them. Had the batteries charged but no time to fly them and re-learn what little I had learnt before they went away.

I did think about getting an electric one this time around but I've still got a thing for nitro stuff. Maybe when I've got back in the groove I'll get one.

The Caliber 4 is fully 3d capable, but that is just a step too far at the moment!! Some of the vids people post up are just plain scary!!

I flew mine inverted for about 2 seconds once trying to save from a crash but it ended up in a tree.
Agree, some of the 3D videos are scary.
I am on RC Heli Addict. Worth a look.
