    Default Power Comparison Graph

    This graph is a comparison of the wheel HP made by my Q4 at various stages.

    Stage 1. The green line.

    Forged Pistons/Rods, E85, OEM ECU, 650cc injectors, Ebay manifold, cheap Chinese t3/t4 turbo.

    Stage 2. The Blue Line.

    Add: Autronic SM4 ECU

    Stage 3. The Red line.

    Add: Cams and 3" exhaust (from mid section rearward) & 3.5"rear muffler + 850cc injectors

    Hi Jim,

    you can really see the difference those cams make at high rpm. You must be pleased with practically doubling the engine power without resorting to a huge turbo and stupid levels of boost.

    Yes, i am pleased with it, its what I have been working towards for a couple of years now. The car is also making more than 400 nm of torque over a very wide band.

    But that's it for this car, now I need to not change it so that I can learn how to drive it better!

    Apart from a cylinder head Jim? There'll be as big a step from doing that as cams only.

    Good to see the cams did good, though the hassle we could of done without, I'm still nagging them!
