Hi all, anyone got an idea of the market price for GTV 1750s at the moment? Supposedly good mechanicals with some work on the body needed. Its a 1969 model.
Cheers

They're pretty steep atm, seen a couple going for around ?10k...so anything from around ?1500 to ?10k plus

This one is on the road at the moment with an MOT until March next year, so not a complete basket case. Its up for auction soon with a reserve at the lower end of that scale. Might just have to sell a few bits and have a punt. I'd prefer the Giulia saloon but SWMBO hates the way they look.

That's a shame, I used to think the same but you learn to appreciate the styling.

Well this is the car in question : 1750 GTV the subject has been broached with the sensible half of this marriage and she seems quite interested.
It just seems a little on the cheap side if it really is as described.
Worth a punt?

Yeah, but it also worries me a little, as it seems too good to be true. And you know what they say about that.
I'm not going to be able to get to the auction so it would be telephone bidding, which means buying sight unseen.
Waiting to hear back from the auction house, then I guess I'll have to decide if I'm going to go for it.

Would love to check it out with my dad but seems the auction houses are not so close. He went to look at a 1970 Spider the other day and took a magnet - amazing how much resto work you can detect like that.

Yep that one was being Auctioned at Buxton, so quite a trip for you. I couldn't get sorted in time so had to pass on it. Shame really as I had the auction guy do a walk round whilst I was on the phone. Seemed pretty solid. I did get the current MOT number so could do a check on all the recent MOTs and advisories.
It had done bugger all miles in the last 5 years, and it looks like it had some welding done last year.
Just waiting for the auction house to update the site so I can see how much it went for.

That one looks pretty good value, the one at auction finally went for ?6380 !!!! over twice its estimate. When you add in the buyers premium of 10% that works out at ?7018 which is almost ?8000.
Looks like the price of GTVs is on the up.
