    Default Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV

This looks too good to be true for the price, its only ?1000.

I just need to get my arse in gear and get the Citroen van sold and I might be in the market for something like this. If I can convince the boss of course.

Time for some RWD fun again I think.

I bought one of the very early Alfetta GTs that appeared at the Earls Court show when they unveiled to UK I believe. I bought it as a rolling resto, but in the end my old pal Nick Nicolaedes (RIP) from Lombarda Sport enthused me TOO much and it went in for a glass out patch up and respray...and whilst doing that I had it retrimmed in leather...and and and ....I think it was knocking towards GBP7K (plus purchase price) when I started to get worried about my sanity, and marriage!!! One of Nick's customers saw it still in the bodyshop and offered to pay me what it owed me, and to be honest I was happy to let it go. I had never intended on getting in quite so deeply, but it was sad that I never even saw the completed car. I didn't want to! The thought of seeing it but not owning it would have been too much!
Then I spent far too much on my Giulia Super.....but that's another story.
I hope I have learnt my lesson now.....maybe!

Enjoy it, but keep it safe!
