Whilst hunting around for a particular photo yesterday I stumbled across a couple of interesting Alfa racecar pics. Now I'm sure some of you will have seen them before (Wrinx!!) but I thought I'd start a thread on here where we can all post up interesting pics of Alfa Romeo race cars.

Can be any sort of Alfa in any sort of race.

I'll get us started, but everyone, feel free to post up anything you come across.

Just imagine what this little lot would be worth today.

And this final one, not seen a large cutaway of a DTM car before, is that the alternator being run off the front of the rear diff?

Been a while, but I've got a few more period race car pics stored up now. Not 100% sure on the descriptions but here goes:

The first 2 were labelled up as from 1946, so look like early Alfetta 158s

This one looks like a P3, but looks a little odd in this colour.

A pair of T33s out on track together.

And finally a 177 F1 car from 1979.

This one looks familiar...I think the restoration of the support truck in the background has been detailed on another forum I used to frequent!
