It looks like the previous fuel pressure gauge topic got lost with all the other posts at the start of the year.

I'm in the process of fitting the gauge at the moment. I picked up one of the new style stepper motor gauges from ebay:

This one infact Fuel pressure Gauge

The gauge is mounted down in the centre console as I no longer have a radio or ashtray down there.

Comes complete with the sender unit which has a 1/8 npt thread.

The only thing not included in the gauge kit is an adaptor to fit the sender into the fuel line, or wire to connect the 2.

Demon-tweeks have come good with the adaptor to fit the sender unit:

Adaptor

And I've got plenty of suitable wire to wire it in.

Just a couple of questions:

When fitting the sender to the adaptor I'm assuming that I'll need to fit a copper washer between sender and adapter to ensure a good fit.

And when wiring it in, the sender has a ground connector as well as signal. So do I ground this to the closest point in the engine bay, or take a cable back to the rear of the gauge and ground it to the back of the gauge then a suitable ground point?

Cheers
