    Default Broken bonnet cable.

    Not as bad as it could have been as it happened when I was removing the front panel, so the bonnet was already open. Looking at the condition of the cable it looks like I was pretty lucky.



    I guess new ones are now no longer made, so the other option is a custom made one or one from a scrappy.

    Or thinking out of the box what about a couple of these: Aerocatch

    Good solution or naff?

    Are they the ones that fit on the bonnet...bit naff imho, but it depends on how you want the car to look

    How about just getting one from a scrapper?

    They do one version that flush fits from underneath the bonnet, still visible from above though. Won't be too noticeable as the car is black anyway, and I can get away with one without a lock as the car lives in the garage all year.

    Hmmm still might look abit naff though.
