Default ...and where have you done it?

Following on from the what have you done for her lately thread, where do you all do your work? Finally getting my garage back in order after a couple of years so here are a couple of pics, notice the inventive use of old dishwashers, and the handily placed central heating boiler to keep me warm.

Looks like a useful bit of space you have...and dry!

My garage has a "bit of a leak" at present and seems to be in permanent state of rearranging to fit in whatever new machine, gadget or car I've bought...but will try and get some pics this weekend when the JTD hopefully leaves it!

    Default Shed Upgrade..

I have recently made some workshop adjustments as well.. I decide to renovate a larger shed that is closer to my house - and move my hoist there. As the shed did not have a floor, i took the opportunity to pour 500mm thick foundations where the hoist bolts to the floor. So this is my Q4's new home..

There is only one thing wrong with that shed Jim, its way too tidy. Where is all the junk that everyone else seems to accumulate?

Hmmm, another neat and tidy garage, looks like I'm going to have to sort myself out and get tidying.

So Biggie, whats the story behind the squashed bike silencer?

Thanks Steve for your kind words

About the story behind the squashed bike silencer, it's a "present" of a motorbike crash on "Montmel? Circuit" when i was racing with my Yamaha R6 at Catalonian Supersport Championship, I miss that very much

Love your Garage too, Biggie - I have bought some paint for mine. but It seems such a big job that I haven't started! Anyway I love the way it is painted and the general feel of it.. A great place to work on cars...

This is how my garage was ages ago, it's changed a fair bit since then

Still had the Matta at this time, which was quite small, SZ purchase meant I had to swap everything around and will need to knock the doors about to get both the SZ and Q4 in together

    MESSY...as a garage should be

Will get some more pics of the new lay out...

But does it have the obligatory inch of water at the bottom of it with an oily sheen?

Sadly it's only halfway there with just some spilt oil to it's credit...although it does have a BBQ!
