Weak engine???

After ignition problems, I replaced the crank sensor.
The twitch stopped, but now I have a different problem, that I haven't had before. The engine is really weak. When I push WOT, the boost rises to almost 1bar, this is around 4000rpm. But I do not feel the power, don't feel the push. If you know what I mean. The engine is weak, and it does not accelerates as good as it sould.

What could be the possible reasons?

Boost leak? Faulty Pierberg valve?

What Wrinx said. Also, a loose electrical contact somewhere in the engine loom is possible. I had a lot of my power back after fiddling with the connectors and checking vacuum hoses.

Try removing the PV from the system by joining the two vac hoses and CAREFULLY driving, without letting the boost go above about 1.3bar.

I found the reason...

But I couldn't find any new spare parts, so I bought a complete engine.
It was really bargain, I payed around 110EUR for it.
