Default Main Shaft sealing - out of stock :(

I have a problem with a transmission oil leakage from the main shaft in the central differential and tried to order the sealing 40004740, but frankly got the answer it was out of stock and out of production! So, now I wonder if anyone knows if it is available anywhere, under an alternative part number or from another supplier?

I suppose it is the same sealing to all Delta Integarles as well, and it would surprise me if it would be impossible to locate a new sealing.

And while asking, have anyone experience from operation 13-28. I really hope I can perform it without removing the entire central differential. Have anyone tried?

    no experiance for this job
you can find info to the work shop manual
but it is a serius job you must ajust the clearence for the cone ball- bearing

as for the sealing just ask an SKF distidutor with the oem number and he will give you the sealing that you want

Thank you for the advice regarding the sealing.

When it comes to the job you confuse me. Why do I have to adjust the cone ball bearing clearance? I remove the piece of shaft and put it back again. The only thing I can think of should be the axial clearance, but that doesn't matter snce the front-to-back drive shaft has compensation splines for that purpose. Or do I think totally wrong?

no im sorry is my mistake
you dont have to adjust something like the differential
the clearence is adjust from the slims
I thing that you have room to change the sealing with out remove the central diff.
