    Default engine holds back when

    hello I'm new here ,we have the '92Q4 for 5 years now
    and just found this website ,
    here is the problem I have the last week ,the engine starts normally ,drive normally til I turn on any electric then it hold back
    so when I turn on the headlights or wippers or airco I have the problem
    I thought the alternater but I measured 14volt even with every thing turned on 13.6volt at stationair rpm
    now I'm thinking of the fuelpomp is to its end.

    are there some central ground bolts ?and where wil they be?
    tomorrow evening I will make an 12 volt to the fuelpomp
    to check every thing in between .

    guys, mostly with Lancia Integrale, here in Greece make a hole new line - wire directly from the battery to the fuel pump {using a relay to guide, open-close, this line-wire} in order to avoid voltage problems with the fuel pump. Especially if they mount a bigger fuel pump.
    Try something like that to check it.

    Hello , I checked the battery he is still good
    I had to tow the car home coudn't drive harder then 40 kmh
    but while we towed the car it was running perfect with every
    thing turned on,so we think that the fuelpomp is to its end

    Have you checked the voltage to the fuel pump when the car is running, the fuel pump relay might be failing.

    today I have checked the earthpoints and cleaned them ,also the wires from
    altinator to starter to the central + point .some of them were rusted
    I hope this was the problem will tomorrow go for a testdrive

    I think I've solved the problem first we changed the fuelpump the car had still the problem later I've changed the altinator and now its running fine .
    the altinator worked fine till 2000 rpm above it it doesn't load anymore
