    Default Pierburg valve life....

Just chipped the turbo, goes great upto 5K revs, but runs out of puff right there, or sometimes before, but if i come off the throttle, and back on again at the 5Krevs, it'll give a load more boost and get going again. Could this be pierburg problem? tis only little, and is 22 years old, same as the car.

One way to check is to cut the PV out of the loop by joining the vacuum pipes together, then go for a run.

But, be careful as you'll have no restriction on the boost, but it will allow you to check your theory...although after 22 years you may have a point!
