When did you hear this Wrinx? The red Q4 I sold was sold to a guy who wanted to mount a 20vt Fiat engine Longitudinally driving the rear diff via a Getrag box. Then go racing with it. Not sure the rear diff would be man enough for the job myself.

Ahh, now that's interesting! I was told the story at last year's National Alfa Day, the mods being done a few years ago so would fit with you moving, source is 100% reliable.

Can you remember your old registration number for my list (and chassis no. would be helpful )?

Have probably asked before but where is the sparkly new engine you installed?

I can get the Reg number as I've still got the front plate downstairs in the garage. Chassis number is a little more difficult.

Not sure what he was going to do with the engine, then again not sure what race series he was going to race the car in. Just hope it was getting a decent cage as the car had been crashed previously!

Mike Buckler of Rusper Alfa built a Q4 for Ron Davies to race in the AROC Championship as it was. Ron didn't get on with the 4WD so I think the car was converted to RWD. What I don't know was if this was using the Q4 engine.

    I can find out though.

Haven't heard or seen Mike for a long while. I think he is mostly retired. At least he completed his Bi-Motore dream before though

Finally got a response from Mike.

Ron's car was a RHD 155 into which he inserted Integrale mechanicals, equivalently a RHD Q4. The 4WD was then removed to put it back to a FWD spec but still utilising the turbo motor

My car is featured in a nice article in the dutch car magazine GTO.
They also mention 2701 Q4's produced.

So we still have 1500 series 1. But series 2+3 are 1201. Of wich I suspect the majority to be series 2.

The count for widebody 155's in the netherlands is 6. The last car wich could be a wb is most likely a series 2 car.

35 cars sold in the netherlands
    series 1: 13
    series 2: 15
    series 1 or 2: 1
    series 3: 6

1 car is either series 1 or 2, not sure until i get its data, wich could be never.

I would be surprised if there are more than 500 wbQ4's worldwide.
