Default Newly Painted Q4 Engine Bay

Thought id give it a spruce up as the old paint was starting to wear through with all the tinkering

The colour contrast between the spark plug cover and the rest was not intentional, I am just crap at painting anything, but I am happy with it

Should I "detail" the text, and if so, what colour. I am thinking white, red, black or back to bare metal...

Looking good...but someone seems to have stolen all the black paint from your slam panel

Keep meaning to do something with the cam cover and inlet but can't be bothered to remove the inlet!

Btw...have you lost the little bracket holding the inlet tube?

That looks great, understated and just damned cool.

I would be tempted to leave it as is, (less is more) if you polish the lettering it will look ok, but the bare aluminium will soon dull and get white spots and pitting on it when it gets damp.

Looks like a piece of plain straight pipe, not OE.
