Default Engine temperature sensor not working.

Ive a problem with the engine temperature sensor, it is not working, ive tested it with a multimeter and it doesnt give me any resistance value. This can affect the ignition and iddle of the engine? Because my engine its cutting at 3000rpm.

Which one, blue (coolant) or brown (air)? How have you tested it? Pics? Description?

    Help us to help you!

thank you =), The blue One, ive tested if it has any resistance (ohms) in working conditions and it doesnt measure anything. The brown is working fine

Check resistance with the connector out, you can burn something if not!!

Surely it affects the injection and timing, maybe with no resistance it puts the ECU in safety mode.

Anyway you have to change it.
