Default New the the Forum (sorry big pics)

    Hi

im new to this place but am hoping you lot can help me.

You may laugh but i currently Drive a Fiat Punto GT, but ive custom fitted a Fiat coupe 2ltr 16v Turbo in it.

shes running 330bhp @ just 1 bar boost. done all the work myself except the engine build, left that to barbz at torque italia.

no point running more boots as traction as a major issue, and it looks like ive killed the box aswell, hence me persuing making the car 4wd.

done my reshurch and the Q4 and Dedra grale use a rear axle like the puntos so its not too difficult to convert. but after reading more ive discovered the Q4 is stronger than the dedra.

my mates got a Q4 complete but it feels so wrong to strip it to make my car.

    Heres some pics

    hope you like

    thanks

    Greg

Nice pics. Looks a better engine space fit than it does on the 155!

Thats a really neat install. I've seen the 2.0l turbo 16v lump in a tipo before, but never a punto. I can certainly see your need for 4wd. I bet its fun when it comes on boost at the moment.

    Welcome,
your car reminds me of this one:

Still don't think it is ready though. And cost a whole lot of money already.

Yours looks more "sensible". But fitting the 4wd should involve quite some hours.

    Good luck with the project.

Can you tell a little bit what was done to the engine? 330HP sounds pretty need. (The big intercooler and the manifold help. But wich turbo is on it? )
