Opel Mantas. Had a huge thing for them as a kid. I'd still quite like one thinking about it now!
Thanks very much
That is just the sort of information I was after.
I have studied your thread several times and will continue to do so. I would like to keep the kappa manifold unmodified but I...
Thanks Steve :thumb:
The strut brace thing is a pain. I need to get my standard one off anyway to get to that awesome coolant hose
Hi Guys
I know I am probably asking some people to repeat themselves but I don't think it hurts to have information in one thread on one topic. So I have a few questions.
1. Is the Kappa...
I have run grooved discs on lots of cars mainly without issue. The only problem I have ever had was when I put some on backwards on a Fiat Cinquecento. That resulted in complete brake fade very...
Thanks Jack. The car is in Spain and will stay there until sold as the market for these is international so little point moving it before I know where it's going. They're sought after in the states...
Car looks very good, especially the engine bay. Wow!!
I'm also very jealous of anyone with LHD leather interior
Nice car
More pictures and description added. The car is now up for sale
I don't have anymore pics at the moment. Will do soon.
This is definately the most over-engined car I've ever driven!! Its quite an experience.
Makes sense with a rotten car. Big balls to commit to it though.
Cant wait to see how it turns out
That's the badger. All Chris' and Pete's work which is still in top notch condition. Love the car, humbled some lads in a 200sx earlier. Q4's seem to be much quicker than the horsepower figures...
Chris you have to stop following me around like this ;)
The red twin spark is looking a bit sorry for herself but is actually a great car, the engine has less than 10k on it. Once I finish...

Wow. How strong is the rear diff on these cars?
That will be seriously quick and will sound amazing. Please post some video or a YouTube link of the car once done.
That is awesome!! How much boost do you expect to run with that?
Looking forward to seeing it on
That's helpful advise thanks. I'm sure you're right and will check this next time I have the cover off. For now at least my problem is fixed though.
Patch
I have replaced both. It wasn't them, it appears to have been water leaking through the heater opening and in some cases leaking onto the ecu. I think i was lucky not to break the ecu
I have built...
Great stuff, especially the back.
Looks very mean
Thats a problem I hope I have one day :)
For now it will be 1 bar. The idea with my car is to make it a comfortable and driveable road car, big boost doesnt fit into my budget at the moment.
I chopped the peg down and adapted the boost gauge so it could only show .25 bar vacuum. I still have a non messed with boost gauge and the ability to plumb it in should I need to fault find. There's...
I thought I'd share something I've been messing about with for the past few months.
It started to get very dangerous looking for the boost gauge down where the stereo used to be so I wanted to...
This is the cover from my RHD twin spark.
Maybe only widebody cars have them, all the 155s I've owned did.
I just checked and the one I was thinking of is actually on the other side of the dash beneath the rpm gauge.
I have taken about 4 sets of dashes apart recently and each was different in its own...
Can they be taken from any LHD 155?
