Could it be the rubber flexipipe to the caliper kinking or collapsing when the steering is turned?
Or, a wheel bearing?

That is my post. Although I said all is well concerning the bush, it has not solved my problems with terrible engine vibration as yet (but I have only fitted one and I have a couple more ready to go...
Amazing as ever - way over my head but what you have acheived is great.
Nice video too. Hopfully you can do a chase video with the 155 - they have objet tracking don't they (if you don't have a...
It looks fantastic. Thank you for the updates. It makes for some good inspiration!
I just watched the video from a few months ago...it is quick!!
Interesting and may be good for those that want to maintain ultra originality. I think a simple rebuild of the existing turbo would be sufficient though.
Looks great with those wheels. Very well suited!
abarth 22 - I don't suppose you ever did this did you?
I am pretty sure mine is perished. It have been nearly since 10 years since this idea was posted. Glad I found it!
I could only find the airbox to turbo hose. ...
Looking great Christian! I need to do the timing belt on mine!
Hi Frank,
Welcome! That looks like a great example! Keep us posted on your progress. They are all of that age where anything made of rubber perishes and plastic snaps!

Thank you for letting me know!
All the best,

Great work Christian!
Which shock absorbers do you have? I am trying to find a set for mine which are close to the OEM specs in softness.
If I have this in the garage I will get it scanned in next week and sent to Steve.

This week I have discovered that there are two versions of the S shape type of TRE. One has a taper starting at 12mm and the other with 12.5mm. Arrrgh!
Not sure if I will make it down yet. Possibly but will see next week where I am with the car. I am taking it to Brands on Sunday for the BTCC opener.
I need to do a bit of that. Having bought it a new battery and given it a couple of runs this week I plan to keep at it and put a few more miles on. I've a few issues to address though. Nothing huge...
I've not had many cars but I do miss the Mk1 MX5 (Eunos). What a great car to drive. It could catch you out at times but great fun nevertheless!
I snapped mine recently by rushing around just before the MOT and bumping in to it. JB is holding it on now!
I remember some debate about the best setup of an air system on 155.org some time back. I think the diameter of the line and fittings were very important. The CFM rating I think is simply a trade off...
This rings a bell but would have to have another look. It's upstream of the lambda isn't it?
