I really like my manifold. And ?200 is very decent for something as unavailable as a Q4 manifold for not to much money.
I put the link in the original post, since that is where most people will look.
Will have a think. Was a bit dubious about the quality of them.
Was your issue with the fitment only Steve or has it cracked at all?

Jack - It would seem that I was supplied with a dodgy one as the rear pipe is too close to the head, in fact it wouldn't fit! Photos of others have all appeared to be fine.
But, as he said they were all sold and he wasn't doing a another batch I felt I was stuck with it so made modifications, including double gasketing and filing the right hand bolt surround :roll: Additionally, I have a 10mm plate to make an extension...when I get around to it!
A common problem is the mounting holes, a couple are out and need filing; and that's no mean feat in 10mm stainless steel.
Feel a bit cheated that he's doing more tbh. :(

I think a lot of cheaper tubular manifolds had their problems. I did hear reports of the supersprint one (@?700 when I got one) cracking. But I must admit that a ?200 manifold sounds awfully cheap.
I have one, that I have ceramic coated. I have been very happy with it. Although the gaskets and bolts that come with the kit need to go right in the bin!

I got two of the older batch, one of them is still sitting very neatly on my car. The other is laying around as spare. Fitting of the first was straight forward, not sure about the spare one, but it looks the same.
I do suggest you think about heat-shielding your engine head and dip-stick after placing it. As the heat it transmitts gets very close to the head.
Yes, you need to register. The forum also won't let you search for more than 3 months back, unless you pay. However, this is where the guy doing the sale was announcing it was around, so that is where I link to. I'm certain someone here will have his e-mail, or another form of contact to reach him.
From what I gather, he's had a batch ceramic coated in the past. That should help keeping the heat inside as well. As Jan mentioned, you will need heat shielding to keep the oil in your head from boiling. You already need that from the stock manifold, this is at least as hot.
