We never got the 1.6 in the UK, how does it drive? I guess with only 53,000 km yours is pretty much like new.

No variator on these either as far as I know - makes a service a bit cheaper!

Correct, basically the 1.8 16v engine...but use the same camlocks as the 1.4 engine.
