2012 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 (2012-10-02 20:00:02)
Driving in Ahvenisto racetrack Hämeenlinna.
Looks good. Do you have any pics of how the front seats are mounted. Are they low enough down for you?
I am 175 cm tall and with a helmet there is room.
Figure marked section is cut away.
Thanks. Our family is a little crazy about Alfa Romeo
Now we have a lot of snow. But my Q4 is waiting for engine rebuild and front diff says klonk klon!
But luckily I found my brother a new car, 156 Q4 Crosswagon. Nice =)
After the summer was something done.
The engine is disconnected from the car and wait for the restoration.
Now, it has been agreed the engine and transmission repairs with some finns lancia specialist.
Some progress has been made.
great work!
keep on !!
Better than new

I found a Finnish company, which makes truck chassis parts. They will also make custom parts for cars. I asked a 26mm anti-roll bar price the my Q4, they says about 500€! Pretty expensive? Does anyone have information on where to ask?
The engine is almost ready and I'll get it back, it's really nice.
Some more photos.
More fotos.
A lot of parts have been purchased but many parts are still missing.
Front brake lines, cooler, oil cooler, better power steering cooler...

The only plade to get ARBs special made is from Pedders in Australia. I have a set ( front/ rear)
Price 650 euro
^Is the price for both parts? What size you have front and rear?
New pictures of the engine, looks pretty nice
Price is for 2 ARB:)
Front 29-30 mm
Rear 24 mm
Are they for sale or in use?
For sale
Hy!
Looking at picture with conrods. While u have them out. I recomment putting them on same weight ( accurate to 0.1g ) , for less stress on crank and better engine performance.
^Conrods are balanced now, there was quite a lot of difference in weight.
Why not try a Fiat Coupe rear ARB?
Rear ARB is still in place, then not occur to me to look at it from other cars.
Hopefully it's occurred to you now.
If the rear is still complete and you can get one to experiment then the timing is perfect.
Motor waiting for transport home.
The engine room has been sanded and painted.
No explanations, see the video ;)

The latest purchase!
I ordered the bigger brakes so I need the larger wheels. Another q4's owner wanted 16 inch, so I got a change of OZ Superleggera 17 inches. =) I also bought the brake lines, I didn't found the 155 but the 156 pipes is well suited to the front.
145 qv series fits too.
I assume not for the back too...
Nice car and project!
Some parts. Hopefully next summer, the car will run.
Good to see. Hope mine might be back by next summer too!
