The Quickshift kit: Fitted
Further to comments about problems fitting the Quickshift (not just this one, the shop bought ones are the same), here's what I did with the BS prototype:
Straight Bracket (note the position of the top bolt).

Here's the problem, the linkage rod hits the surrounding metalwork, 1st gear won't engage properly.

3rd gear...does engage, just, but hits the red bodywork.

5th gear is ok.

Here you can see where the linkage is hitting the bodywork, the white line shows where paint has been scraped.

The white line is a useful mark, telling you what needs to be removed, I started filing in the middle.

All the filing took around 15-20mins with regular checks for progress until it looked like this, my finger is about 20mm wide.
