excuse me, but ny english isn't so good...
Did you replace the turbine with a compressor?
It has both a turbo and a supercharger.
Yes, thats right, twincharge
Haven't been around for a while, entered today because of a mail received for a PM :)
This is what happened a couple of days after we shoot that video

The most stupid thing is that this is not the first time I do that (opened hood at high speed) :)
Done this twice before on my other car. Feeling kinda dump
BTW, on the pic you can see the reason I dont have the OEM hood locks any more ... fitted the biggest radiator ever possible on that car ... vw passat tdi don't know what year. I don't recommend that to any street driven car :) :) :), lots of custom work needed for the headlamps etc ...
Sorry for the bad pics but ... you get the idea ;)

I can't post everything on all forums ;)
P.S.: That album is only for the body work ... there are others on the performance stuff.
P.P.S.: Just added some pics to the previous post :)
great pictures, thanks for posting the picasa link.
jimn~
Definitely you?re not sane...
The bonnet on my track car lifts off and fixes on with four bonnet pins, one day I forgot to fasten them on and set off on a road test.
Luckily no-one was too close behind me when it took off, it cleared the car completely!
I now have a composite bonnet. Have you considered making composite panels for your car? Very light compared to welded steel and filler....
I made a new front bumper to house a bigger intercooler too, a lot of work, but I enjoyed most of it and it looks good.
son of a ****, now THATS body work :D
I think It's a Honda (Acura).
http://www.honda.co.jp/news/2005/ima...00_4051124.jpg
I still don't get it :)
There must be some misunderstanding, I don't have nothing to do with hondas :)
http://lh4.ggpht.com/jivco.shterev/S...2000_graph.jpg
It says S2000, but also wrc...
I think it is this one:
http://lh5.ggpht.com/TRC.OFF/RwoaYNh...0/A5AD5913.jpg
So a punto wrc S2000. Sorry for the confusion. I only think of the honda when i read S2000.
And the engine specs do match. (As does the rev limit.)
The reason for my confusion, my other car:

On Circuit Zandvoort. (Nice to hunt down imprezas.)
http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/8895/dsc0095bs8.jpg
And the dyno sheat of a conservitive consistant dynocenter.
As you can see it has some similarities with the punto S2000. Almost same rev limit, I have more torque in the bottom, the punto gets more higher in the revs. But i bet that won't last 100.000 miles.

Sorry for the offtopic stuff.
But i think you now understand my confussion.
Some progress here ... not as fast as I wish but ... still something

My background is in metalwork and welding....very impressive!
Keep us updated and when you get time...knock me a set up ;)
wrinx
Nice work, I admire the skill there.
Post duly edited.
Welding is something I have never beem much good at, lack of practice and a teacher really. So my latest project is with someone else right now having the welding done, I just did the preparation by making the parts - lots of strengthening plates and some repair panels as the shell is a bit rusty and integrales have a weak front end which can crack after lots of use, especially with lots of hard use which I'm hoping mine will get!
I found a bodywork restoration class near me, so am going to book myself in for some lessons in the new year.
Added some new pics of the car in the picasa album, this is taking more time than planned, but at least it's getting nice
