I already have a track car (well not turbo and awd but fast enough, much faster than the q4 on the track I'm racing)
It is planned to be a fast street car, that I can drive at anytime of the year (especially winter time :P)

thats looking very good J
j1v, congrats. Nice and dedicated job.
I have to admit that I'm glad I have where to learn from. What a forum, what people !
Thanks for the share.
Regards,
Chris.
Nice, I know how a normal wastegate works, no idea on the external, will have to read up now :deal:
A dyno from the last month, stock exhaust collector, internal gate 1.6 overboost, 1.3 hold :

And a dyno from today, the new collector, external gate, 1.9 bar hold boost:

Finally time for the rest of the car to be done (body/suspension/brakes) :)
Very impressive!

yes, it is very impressive. I read back over this whole thread today - its great to have those pics so that we can really see what you are doing. But there is one aspect that I don't understand. How did you remap the ecu. have you purchased a premade chip - or have you made one yourself with an eprom burner / rom emulator etc. If its a "home brew" one - did you find that the info on this forum is correct regarding the table mappings / values? which tables did you change?
Thanks, JimN.
Nice work keep it up
Yes, lancia VIS stock cams. I took the info from a pdf found somwhere, and also measured them to be 100% sure.

Thank you. You've got PM.
Very nice job. I must ask, are the dyno plots wheel power/torque or flywheel power/torque?
/A
I don't know if I'm gone mad, or what but ... it's time for stage 3 :)
1. Bigger intercooler (again), 600x300x100mm core :)
2. Garrett GT3076, .63 A/R
3. Eaton m62 from c230 kompressor :)
4. A pretty simple and effective schema to make ... just need time, luck and a lot of patience.
5. Dual stage water injection 50/50 water/methanol
6. 10mm fuel lines
7. bigger custom SS fuel rail
8. Planned boost - ~0.8 bar off idle, up to 2 bars at 4500k all the way to the rev limit (8k)
9. Planned power - about 450 - 500 :)
BTW, I have just swapped to a Lancia Kappa turbo intake and I must say I love it. This is the best intake for this car. Will post pics soon.
Here comes the summer ... time to think about underhood temps :)
