LOVELY.

Probably the last proper Alfa; nord engine, twin dellortos, timing chain, keep fit steering and, of course, rear wheel drive.

Beautiful torquey engine with instant carburettor get up and go. Sweet gearchange for a transaxle car - even 1st to 2nd (no, really).

Nicely standard and original with the exception of rear exhaust box and braided brake lines.

Usual twenty year old scratches and dings, slightly crusty rear arches, but nothing that can't be easily sorted.

Almost timewarp interior; some wear on driver's seat otherwise great with genuinely Alfa-esque touches such as window switches on the ceiling, spacey handbrake lever and, unusually, all the lights go out as they should on the inboard computer.

Bad bits:
Needs centre exhaust box.
One piston a bit lazy on rear caliper (will try to have a look at this).
Bodgy repair to petrol tank (doesn't leak now though).

This car needs a little attention and love, but it is very loveable.
