Hows the trackday car coming along? Just asking as I'm at the start of a similar project with a GTV, if I can find a suitable donor car.

I have not done alot in recent months Steve. As you are aware i have been away for a few months.
I got under it a couple of days ago,stripped off the rear shocks and springs. Also the trailing arms and front calipers and discs.
A bit of plan change now is i am going to have the engine fully forged to achieve a possible 450hp. Along with the gearbox being stripped out and rebuilt and a Lancia intergrale inline plate to strenthen the gearbox. Luckily enough i have an early 5 speed box which is known to be stronger than the later 5 speed.
A big brake conversion is needed to stop this lot also. A progressive turbo to maximise grip out of corners.
Once i have got her fully stripped out,i intend to get the tin worm protection sorted.
Then all is needed is a large amount of money for the rebuild !!

have you been to the Haute Saintonge circuit? Its not that far away from me and it looks pretty interesting.
Looks like all the track days are organised by GTRS and the price for a trackday during the week looks pretty competitively priced.

Not yet Steve, but its on my list. I am hoping a few coupe lads are coming over this year ,so i thought i would try and get us in there or at my local track. Val de Vienne.
