Has anyone ever used one of these things? Just been looking at their site G-Tech Website (http://www.gtechpro.com) and they claim pretty high accuracy. Just wondering how their claims hold up in the real world.
If they are as good, or even close, to the accuracy that is claimed then they look a pretty cool piece of kit.

Phil has one on the 155 forum - he says they are pretty good, and was fairly accurate against his rolling road read out - I think they go cheap on ebay occasionally.

I was thinking of getting the RR version as you can capture a couple of hours data with it. Joined the Alfa Club du Sud Ouest, so sohuld be using the Q4 abit more from now on, especially out on track where the G-tech can be set up to do all sorts, shift light, G loadings, accel. And it comes with software so you can download it onto a pc. Just so you can see how crap you really were out on track. Could be interesting to combine video footage on track with captured data. :D :D

Good idea - picture in picture - like the data read out on F1 - except our rev counters only got to 8K rpm

This one looks like a good price at the moment G-tech on fleabay (http://cgi.ebay.fr/G-Tech-Pro-RR-Gtech-banc-de-puissance-embarque-RACING_W0QQitemZ150138135478QQihZ005QQcategoryZ737 28QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) don't think it will stay this cheap though.

See this:

People are talking about £40!

Yeah, the SS is quite cheap, but doesn't have the logging and extra features of the RR, which is abit more pricey. The one on fleabay retails at €499 but you can get it discounted at €350. I'll watch the one on fleabay and maybe have a bid.
