Right, due to circumstances I need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge asap. From looking at the manual It seems to measure the fuel pressure you need to tap into the circuit at the point where the fuel hose joins the injector feed rail.
But the fuel pressure regulator is at the other end of the injector rail and the fuel pressure is measured without the engine running. So wouldn't the two ends of the fuel injector rail be at the same pressure?
I would attach the fuel pressure gauge in the recommended point but its a 14x1.5 thread and getting an adaptor might be a problem. The other end of the rail is just a push fit/jubilee clip affair.
Basically I just need to turn the fuel pressure down (and refit the Cats) to get the car through its CT (French MOT) then turn the fuel pressure back up after.
So will checking the pressure at the 'wrong end' matter?
