Guys another topic on this!

Sorry about my questions but I need help before "hurt" :D my machine !!!

After install the 17" wheels (215/40/17 do you think that Jamex spacers or similar should be installed with this wheels?) I can't find the right setup and allignment of the car it continues to vibrate and the steering wheel pull to the right side.
One guy told me that it could be a hydraulic steering problem, (something about a valve that is loosing pressure)
did you hear something similar before?

I'm going to do a major work on front suspensions (wishbones and shocks) and fix the steering issue during this process if needed.
About wishbones do you recommend the Powerflex bushes?

Thank you guys!
Dario.

I have 17" wheels with these same size tyres and no problems.

I think the problem could be the track rod ends or the wishbones (ball joint of the bushes) are worn, check them well with a crowbar and see if there is movement :)

Same here, 17"wheels with an ET of 37.
I also lowered the car 50mm.

I don't use them.

Can't say. I have a couple of wishbones waiting. But first the old ones have to give up.

Marc

Here is a good guide on how to fit them :)

They are a bit expensive but the bushes will not wear out, but remember the ball joint will.

Is this part called ball joint?

Can this ball joint also be replaced with polyurathane part?

So theres no point in fitting powerflex bushes if the ball joint is worn out?
Well, wishbones on my 155 have never been changed and im thinking of fitting powerflex bushes. Is it worth putting powerflex bushes on wishbones with probably worn out ball joints or should i buy some new wishbones with good ball joints and than fit powerflex bushes? As there is no PU replacement for the ball joint, can it be replaced with standard one without buying new wishbones?

Yes, If I wanted powerflex I would buy new wishbones and fit the new bushes to them and swap the bushes to new wishbones when the ball joint wears out - the ball joint takes quite a while to fail though :)
