Right then, since I've had the new compensator/rear brake pipes, I've had a very soft brake pedal. Still got the same stopping power, just doesn't feel as positive. I've also moved the battery to the boot now so can get at the clutch cylinder, for bleeding purposes.
So what are everyones thoughts on bleeding the brake system at the clutch? Have you had to do it before? Did it make any difference? Did you get any air out from there? Bear in mind that when the bake pipe split, I did lose pretty much all of the fluid from the resevoir.

Cheers

When I bled the clutch with new fluid it felt so much lighter to push.

I dont think it would affect the brakes, separate system, just feeds off the same reservoir AFAIK

my brakes are always from the capiler itself.
