Sticky maybe??
AJ, where did you get that info from? The red maintainance manual or some workshop manual?
The top two pages are from the red owners manual which should come with the car, I think one book covers all 92-95 155s so you may be able to get hold of one fairly easily :D
Thank you for helping.
I wil use Castrol SMX-S in my gear box , and SAF-XO on the rear diff.
Oil Specs from the manual:
From the manual:
Gearbox and Centre Differential:
Specified Classification:
API GL-4
Recommended:
Tutela ZC 80/S
Rear Differential
Specified Classification:
API GL-5
SAE 8W/90
Recommended:
Tutela W90/M-DA
I plan to change the oil in the rear diff, because it is not known when was last changed (if it is changed at all). I will use Motul Gear 300 -> link (https://www.motul.com/gb/en/products/oils-lubricants/gear-300-75w90?f%5Bapplication%5D=141&f%5Brange%5D=25). Does someone use this oil for rear diff and/or gearbox? What oil did you use?
You probably changed all the oils long time ago  ...I've used Gear 300 too for my rear diff 3 years ago when it was rebuilt/refurbished. My gearbox/central diff on the other hand was dis- and reassembled 2 weeks ago and I've bought Motul HD 80w90 for that.
